With shattered hearts, the family of Jaymes Jayce Oatchess of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan is deeply saddened to announce that he was born sleeping on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Jaymes will be sadly missed by his mom & dad: Latisha Oatchess & Blaze Black Kettle; big sisters: Amari & Ember Black Kettle; as well as his grandparents & many aunts & uncles.
Jaymes is going to join his baby brother, Carter, in heaven.
Wake, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. SK (12:00 p.m. AB) at the Big Island Lake Band Hall, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, Alberta at 12:00 p.m. SK (11:00 a.m. AB).
