It is with great sadness that the family of William James Whitford of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announce his passing on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 75 years.
William will be forever remembered and loved by his spouse of 20 years: Monica (Clara) Breast; daughter: Colleen Cardinal (John Herron); grandchildren: William Herron, Paris Mark, Magnus Mark, Angelique Cardinal, Selena Cardinal, Leah Cardinal, Victoria Willier, Darius Willier; godparents: Florence Favel & Richard Castor; special niece: Sophie Houle; special friend: Alice Anderson; fur babies: Tommy Cat, Chi Chi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives.
William will be going into the arms of his son: Reynold Cardinal; parents: Napoleon & Margaret Whitford; siblings: Harry, Roy, Johnny, Archie, Mark, Lydia, Florence, Rose, Lillian, Evelyn, Alice; pet: Happy.
Wake, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB ( leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 11:00 a.m.).
Funeral Service, Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB with Father Joseph Thaliparambil officiating. Pallbearers: Dean Houle, Aries Cardinal, Bradley Breast, Bradley Houle, Richard Castor, Paul Hunter. Honorary Pallbearers: The Hope family and friends.
