With deep sadness, the family of Vince Roland Moosewah (a.k.a. Mr. Duck) of Edmonton, AB, formerly of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, AB regretfully announces that the sun set for him on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the age of 60 years.

Vince is survived by his wife: Roseanna Cardinal; children: Shawndell Northwest, Roxy Cardinal (Roy), Leanne Cardinal, Robert Cardinal, Richelle Moosewah (Conner), Cree Cardinal, Shaylene Moosewah, Jewel Moosewah; grandchildren: Unique Cardinal, Presley Cardinal, Willow Cardinal, River Cardinal, Rain Bluecloud, Phoenix Bluecloud, Harmony Moosewah, Blaze Moosewah, Heavenly Moosewah, Kylan Cardinal, Napew Moosewah, Whisper Moosewah; best friend: John Semenchuk; siblings: Delia Brertton, Eva (Dennis) Cardinal, Cora Houle, Linda Makokis, Cindy McGilvery; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Vince is going into the arms of his parents: Maggie & Joe Moosewah; sons: Chad Northwest, Tyrone Northwest; siblings: Leon Moosewah, Gerald Moosewah, Mike Moosewah, Margaret Moosewah, Harold Moosewah, Victor Moosewah.

Wake, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., Owl River Hall, Owl River, AB, leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche at 3:30 p.m.

Funeral Service, Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., Owl River Hall. Pallbearers: John Semenchuk, Lerrick Cardinal, Roy Cardinal, Donavon Giroux, Conner Danais, Roy Redcrow. Honorary Pallbearers: all his grandchildren, friends and family. Final Resting Place, Our Lady of the Snow Cemetery, Owl River, AB.
