Victor Joseph Ringuette

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Victor Ringuette of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his passing on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

Left to cherish his legacy, his loving wife of 61 years: Greta Ringuette; four children: Roxanne Ringuette (Glenn Harvey), Deanna Meekins (Gary), Lorne Ringuette (Christine), Norman Ringuette (Colleen); eleven grandchildren: Andrew Harvey, Bryan Harvey, Samantha Murray (Mike), Allen Meekins (Briana), Zachary Meekins (Ridwan Abdi), Emilie Ringuette, Erik Ringuette; Katelynn Ringuette, Victoria Ringuette (Ben Jorgenson), Brooke Ringuette, Sophia Ringuette; sister: Annette Brydon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Victor was predeceased by his parents: Hector and Alice Ringuette; three brothers: Rene, Emile, Alberic; grandson: Adam Harvey.

Public viewing, Memento Funeral Chapel, Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, November 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Those wishing to attend are asked to please register via our website by clicking the RSVP tab below corresponding with the day you wish to attend or by calling our office between 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. A private Funeral Service, by invitation only, will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Rene Realuyo as celebrant. Following the Funeral Service, a procession in honor of Victor will begin at Sobey’s at approximately 12:30 p.m. and continue west, down main street, stopping at B&R Eckel’s yard for Victor to do “One Last Check". Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on the sidewalks, along main street.  Final resting place, Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta. Honorary Pallbearers: All the staff at B&R Eckel’s. Pallbearers: Andrew Harvey, Katelynne Ringuette, Allen Meekins, Victoria Ringuette, Zachary Meekins, Erik Ringuette.
