Timothy Allan Charlton of Cherry Ridge Estates, Cherry Grove, Alberta was born in a small hamlet of Dodsland, Saskatchewan, on September 4, 1953; if you go there now it is only a sign at the crossroads. He was the oldest of five boys and one girl.
Tim will be missed dearly by his beloved wife: Karen Charlton of Cherry Grove, Alberta; children: Will (Jolene) Charlton of Boise, Idaho, Vicky (Aaron) Traub of Cherry Grove, Alberta, Kyle (Kim) Charlton of Kennewick, Washington, Shawn Charlton of Cherry Grove, Alberta; mother: Doris Charlton of Bonnyville, Alberta; grandchildren: KJ, Austin, Tyler, Hannah (Jeff), CJ, LJ, Joslyn, Anna, Olivia, Dusty, Kenna, Karly, Keegan, Kate; brothers: Ted (Sonya), Kerry (Christine), Tyler (Becky), Kelly (Georgina); niece: Vanessa (Justin); great-niece and nephew: Ezra and River-Willow whom he took into his home and helped raise; niece: Melissa and her children Cory, Josie, Ryker and Rylan, who spend lots of time in their home; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his father: Allan Charlton; sister: Caroline.
Tim always worked hard, was charitable to others and had a kind heart. He worked on various jobs through the west coast as a roofer, laying cement, CNR and CPR worker, carpenter, truck driver, meat cutter and electrician. Tim had a recycling business and a roofing business, and up until recently when he was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma Cancer, he was delivering trailers from manufacturing plants in the United States to Canadian RV companies. He was always a courteous driver.
