With great sadness, the family of Shirley Barnes of Cold Lake, Alberta announces her passing at the age of 92 years on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Shirley is lovingly survived by her children: Wendy McWilliam (Andrew Volk), Cindy (Richard) Kentfield, Claudia (Steven) Charlton; grandchildren: Amy (Clayton) Kucherawy, Allen (Kerry) Kentfield, Don Kentfield, Melodie (Kevin) Leach, Alicia Payne, Matthew Charlton, Sarah (Branden) Gilles; great grandchildren: Daniel Kentfield, Torie Kentfield, Alison Leach, Katie Kentfield, Faye Kentfield, Brody Leach, David Kucherawy, Lydia Ergang, Blaire Ergang, Rose Morris, Amelia Gilles, Ryder Gilles, Damien Charlton, Mara Lehocky; sister-in-law: Eileen Wall.
Shirley is predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years Keith Barnes; parents: Olive & Arnold Watt; sisters: Alice Luciak, Claudia Vasseur; brother: Clayton Watt; nephew: Dwayne Watt; niece: Charlotte Kilcup.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, November 1, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Riverhurst Community Hall, 63231 Range Road 432, Riverhurst, Alberta with Pastor Mark McMillan officiating. Final Resting Place: Rat Lake Cemetery, Alberta.
