It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shayne Kolten Wesley Jackson of Edmonton, Alberta announces his passing on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 33 years.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of cherished memories is his mother: Doris Steinhauer of Edmonton, AB; siblings: Jerome Jackson, Shelley Steinhauer, Ronald Steinhauer, Cheryl Crystal Steinhauer, Cherrie Steinhauer, Clint Steinhauer all of Edmonton, AB; adopted brother: Jackson Brown of Edmonton, AB; special adopted sister: Echo Kehewin of Kehewin Cree Nation, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and relatives.

Shayne was predeceased by his mosôm & kôkom: Edward & Violet Jackson; grandmother: Rose Whitford; uncle: Harvey Jackson; auntie: Zelda Jackson; nephew: Phoenix Steinhauer.

Wake, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, AB at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB, with Pastor Linda Burns officiating. Pallbearers: Ellias Steinhauer, Joel Steinhauer, Brandon Steinhauer, D’Angelo Steinhauer, Jackson Brown, Brett Landry, Emilio Steinhauer, Kristoff Crier.
