On May 4, 2021, Ross Davison Dargavel of Cold Lake Alberta passed away at the age of 60 years, after a heroic battle with cancer.
Ross came to Cold Lake and worked for Manatokan Oilfield Services as a Hi Pressure Chemical Supervisor where he was known as a hard worker and well liked. Prior to the move he worked for Clean Harbors Canada Ltd. in Dartmouth, N.S. as a Senior Equipment Operator/foreman and supervisor. In his spare time, he was a valuable member of the Colchester Ground Search and Rescue Association, as well as an Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron and the Navy League of Canada (N.S. Mainland Division). Ross had an adventure for life; he enjoyed “Winter Camping” and training youths how to survive in the winter out-of-doors and camping with his grandkids. Ross had a wit-wordplay sense of humor and a positive disposition. He will be sadly missed by us all.
