Rosalie (Noël) Durocher

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Rosalie Marie Victorine Durocher (nee Noël), formerly of Mallaig, AB passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Bonnyville Health Centre, at the age of 88 years; with a peaceful and easy feeling, Rosalie's family wishes her a speedy journey home to join her husband, René, and rejoice with the Lord.

Rosalie is lovingly survived by her six daughters and two sons;

Therese (Brian) Malak of Lacombe, AB and their children: Suzanne (Sal) Fashori & their children: Mina & Kale; Richard (Stephany) Malak & their children: Tyran & Selina; Katherine (Gil) Magne and their children: Mathieu, Néomie, Loïc & Amélyn.

Sylvia Durocher of Edmonton, AB.

Carmen (Allan) Plamondon of Glendon, AB and their children: Corine (Les) Korn & their children: Hayden, Hudson & Rowan; Rachel Plamondon and her children: Ethan, Bryce & Deacon; Anthony Plamondon; Marty (Lotus) Plamondon and their children: Cooper & Hayes; Curtis (Jodie) Plamondon and their children: Wyatt, Nolan, Rhéa & Cole.

Madeleine (Robert) Pratch of Goodridge, AB and their children: Gregory (Courtney) Pratch & their children: Artemis & Exzodius; Douglas Pratch.

Loraine Durocher of Ardrossan, AB and her children: Alyxandrea Durocher & MacKenzie Durocher.

Stella Durocher (Gord Beatty) of Edmonton, AB and his children.

Victor Durocher of Edmonton, AB and his children: Amanda Durocher, Rebecca Durocher & Emily Durocher.

Rosalie is also survived by her three brothers: Sylvio Noël, Isidore (Wendy) Noël, Raymond (Liz) Noël; four sisters: Maria (Herb) Sieben, Denise (Maurice) Touchette, Yvonne (Delphis) Robinson, Françoise Noël; three sisters-in-law: Yvette Noël, Ethel Noël, Adeline Gascon; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rosalie was predeceased by her husband of 68 years: René Leon Durocher (May 12, 2022); parents: Ernest & Jeanne Noël; four brothers: Jean-Marie 'Joe' Noël, David Noël, Maurice Noël, André Noël; two sisters: Pierretta Cowan, Emmérentiene 'Emma' Ambler; four brothers-in-law: Dave Cowan, Lucien Malo, Henri Gascon, Albert Ambler; three sisters-in-law: Winnie Noël, Henriette Noël, Irene Malo.

Cremation has taken place.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Helen's Catholic Church, St. Lina, Alberta with Father Jhack Diaz officiating. A recording of Rosalie's service will be made available. Final Resting Place for both Rosalie & René, St. Lina Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Lina, Alberta.
