With saddened hearts and much love, the family of Rodney “Roddy” Dwain Tizzard of Bonnyville, Alberta announce his journey from earth to heaven, to be with Jesus, on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the age of 59 years. Roddy had a soft heart for people and he wanted everyone to know Jesus as their Savior.
Roddy will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 25 years, Elsa Tizzard; parents: Dwain & Janet Tizzard; two brothers: Ken (Jo Anne) Tizzard, Roy (Diane) Tizzard; two sisters: Sandra Tizzard, Sharon Tizzard; three nephews: Lyle Tizzard, Gage Tizzard, Quintin Tizzard; four nieces: Robin Tizzard, SallyJo (Martial) Dinter, Kari Pals (Stephen Lombardo), Quincy Tizzard; five great nephews: Stryth Tizzard, Ayden Tizzard, Brixton Carter, Kouper Pals, Mason Sakaluk; four great nieces: Kailyn Tizzard, Cheyanne Sakaluk, RoryJo Pals, Haisley Tizzard. Roddy will always be remembered by his brothers & sisters-in-law and numerous nieces & nephews in the Philippines.
Roddy was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Alfred & Violet Tizzard; maternal grandparents, Maxwell & Adelaide Green.
Public Visitation, Friday, March 31, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m, Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville.
Funeral Service, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Willow Praire Hall, La Corey with Justyn Snyder officiating. Public viewing 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. prior to funeral service. Pallbearers, Ken Tizzard, Roy Tizzard, Lyle Tizzard, Gage Tizzard, Quintin Tizzard, Pat Stevenson. Final Resting Place, Lessard Community Cemetery, Lessard, AB.
