Robert Malcolm Runnalls of Cold Lake, AB passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 67 on April 20, 2023. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings; Greg(Janet) Runnalls of Okotoks AB, Barry Runnalls of Cold Lake AB, Glenn (Kathy) Runnalls of Medicine Hat AB, Wendy (Dewayne) Foulds of Cherry Grove AB, David (Kathy) Runnalls of Camrose AB, nieces and nephews; Jamie (Joel) Tone, Allan (Kristen) Runnalls, Trevor (Pam) Runnalls, Logan (Rachael) Runnalls, Corey (Eleanor) Runnalls, Dustin Foulds, Kenton (Tasha) Foulds, Joel (Andrea) Runnalls, and Erin (Josh) Crouse; as well as 16 great nieces and nephews and special friend of many years Donna M. Robert was predeceased by his parents; Edythe and Harvey Runnalls; and niece Candice Foulds. Grandparents; Roy and Izetta Foster, Victor and Mabel Runnalls and numerous aunts and uncles. Robert had a passion and love for teaching his nieces and nephews or anyone else that would listen about aviation, rocketry, and about computers and technology, RC planes and helicopters and drones. Robert loved the local wildlife around the farm and his pet cats. Robert worked numerous jobs including School Bus Driving, Forestry Fire Dispatcher, Agricultural Research Projects, Graphic Design and Sign Making, and Computer Repair just to name a few. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, June 3rd, at Cherry Grove Community Cemetery (62309 Range Road 413A) Cherry Grove, Alberta at 11AM with a light lunch to follow at the old Runnalls Farm. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Robert can be made to the charity of one’s choice. Robert’s family would like to thank the staff and residents at the Cold Lake Lodge for the wonderful care they have taken of Rob for the last few years and Memento Funeral Chapel staff for all that they have done. Also to his brother, Barry and brother- in-law, Dewayne and sister, Wendy for all the trips they made to help make Rob’s life simpler.
