It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Robert Aime Laporte of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his passing on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 83 years after a courageous battle with old age!

Robert will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 61 years: Denise Laporte of Bonnyville; children: Michel (Cathy) Laporte of Victoria, BC, Daniel Laporte of Bonnyville, Marcel Laporte of Bonnyville, Caroline (Mel) Palmer of Bonnyville; daughter-in-law:  Bev Brace of Bonnyville; grandchildren: Courtnay & Conlan Laporte, Nikki Laporte; sister: Vivian Sheppard; brother: Albert (Denise) Laporte; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his parents: Jean Baptiste & Fayne Laporte; grandson: Cole Palmer; brother: John Laporte.

Graveside Service , Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB with Father Rene Realuyo officiating.
