Robert Edward Kingsley

It is with profound sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of our Husband, Stepfather, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle, Robert E Kingsley of Devon, AB in Cold Lake, AB on November 17,2022 at the young age of 62.

Robert had an enormous love for vehicles that started at a very young age.  He turned that love into a full-time career as a Red Seal Automotive Technician.  When Robert was not working you could find him tinkering with race cars at the racetrack or in his back garage restoring older vehicles.  He also had a passion for collecting car parts and storing them where he could find a spot, whether it was in the house or in his garage.

In his later years when his mother needed help, he stepped into that role with love and compassion, taking such amazing care of her until her passing.

He leaves to mourn his loss but treasure his memory, his wife of 28 years: Marcia; stepson: Nathan (Angelina); stepdaughter: Moyra (Sean); sister: Rosa-Jean; nieces: Kimiko, Crystal, Melissa, Alexis and Stacie; many grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his best dog friend and one of his sidekicks: Magnum.

He was predeceased by his father: Robert in 2008; mother 6 days prior to his passing; great nephew: Deni; stepson: Robert; granddaughter: Brianna; and his other sidekick: Hemi.

A private family gathering was held in Cold Lake, AB on Saturday November 19, 2022.

A memorial gathering will be held later so his friends, family, and extended family can honor his memory.
