The family of Robert Douglas Desjarlais of Edmonton, Alberta is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 57 years.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Annie Davies of Cold Lake, AB; siblings: Jo-Anne Thorne of Edmonton, AB, Richard Smith of Edmonton, AB, Velma Smith-Prue of Kingston, ON, Lesley Smith-Inglis of Ottawa, ON; aunts & uncles: Alfred Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB, Pat (Cathy) Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB, Velma (Eddie) Soloway of Cold Lake, AB, Cecil (Joanne) Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB, Fred Desjarlais of Cold Lake, AB; as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Robert was predeceased by his father Antoine (Tony) Corrigal; niece: Miranda Thorne; maternal grandparents: Alfred & Marion Desjarlais; great-grandparents: Thomas & Rebecca Lonsdale.
Funeral Service, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Settlement Community Hall, Elizabeth Metis Settlement, AB with Pastor Ron Hewitt officiating. Final resting place, Elizabeth Metis Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers: Trent Thorne, Shane Thorne, Merle Desjarlais, Chris Keating, Mike Desjarlais, Wayne Soloway.
