Richard William Lasouski

With heavy hearts, the family of Richard William Lasouski of Cold Lake, Alberta regretfully announce his peaceful passing, with family by his side, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Richard will be forever remembered and loved by his sons: Richard of West Kelowna, BC, Peter (Jennifer) of Cold Lake, AB; daughters: Debbie of Red Deer, AB, Beverley (Larry) of Cold Lake, AB, Cathy of West Kelowna, BC, Patricia of West Vancouver, BC; grandchildren: Charles (Delaney) of Red Deer, AB, Steven (Laini) of Cold Lake, AB, Melanie (James) of Edmonton, AB, John (Hannah) of Cold Lake, AB, Curtis of Cold Lake, AB, Kathleen (Josh) of Cold Lake, AB, Travis (Kelsi) of Cold Lake, AB, Jordan (Carlie) of Cold Lake, AB, Morgan (Jean-Christophe) of Whistler, BC; great grandchildren: Kianna, Kadie, Cian, Averey, Ashlyn, James, Riley, Charlotte, Evangeline, Paisley, Penelope, Nash, Rhiley, Reid, Bennett, Lilah, Josh; brother: Matthew Lasowski of Ottawa, ON; sister: Rose Lasouski of Glace Bay, NS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his wife: Frances Kathleen; parents: William and Mary Lasowski brothers: Johny, Bronny; sisters: Vickie, Juliette, Mary, Frances; son-in-law: Glyn Ewen.

Funeral Mass, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (Eulogy will begin at 12:50), St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, Alberta with Father Limneo Zamora officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Alberta Cancer Foundation and Hearts for Health Care.
