Rene Louis Dallaire

It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Rene Louis Dallaire of Bonnyville announces his peaceful passing with family by his side on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Rene will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of twenty years: Yvonne Chartrand of Bonnyville; his three children: Michel Dallaire of Mallaig, Noella (Don) Williams of Lessard, Claude Dallaire of Bonnyville; daughter-in-law: Violet Dallaire of Bonnyville; thirteen grandchildren: Mathieu, Erik, Nathalie (Kyle), Kara (Davin), Charmaine, Jenna (Chase), Catlan (Rob), Clinton (Charmaine), Jeremy (Katie), Jessica (Dillon), Mackenzie (Colton), Shane (Kitana), Colin; fourteen great grandchildren: Madison, Larissa, Hailey, Spencer, Eden, Katie, Isaak, Rhett, Emmett, Tayah, Heath, Navi, Capri, Hadley; two brothers: Marcel (Evelyn) Dallaire of Bonnyville, Simon (Debbie) Dallaire of Vernon, BC; four sisters: Aline Dallaire of Quebec City, QC, Cecile Dallaire of Edmonton, Marthe Dallaire of Quebec City, QC, Elianne Dallaire (Raymond) of Whitby, ON; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Rene was predeceased by his two sons: Jacques Dallaire on August 14, 1977, Marc Dallaire on May 11, 2005; parents: George Dallaire on December 27, 1964 & Germaine Dallaire on April 9, 1998; three brothers: Maurice on Nov. 14, 2013, Charles on Jan. 14, 2016, Jean-Joseph on Sept. 10, 2021.

Funeral Mass, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville with Father Rene Realuyo as celebrant.  Those wishing to view the service online may do so by live-stream here on our website.  A recording of the service will also be made available. Final Resting Place, St. Michael Roman Catholic Cemetery, La Corey, AB.
