It is with deep sadness that the family of Reginald Lamothe announce his passing on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 80 years.
Reg will be lovingly remembered by his family – wife: Rae Lamothe; children: Dave Lamothe, Sarah (Justin) Hoskin; grandson: Ethan Hoskin; granddaughter: Allison Hoskin; beloved sister: Dolores Shtybel; nephew: Dr. Wayne Shtybel; niece: Karen Shtybel.
Reg is predeceased by his father: Armand Lamothe; mother: Ida Lamothe (née Fuhr).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Haying in the 30’s would be appreciated, Box 35, Mallaig, Alberta, T0A 2K0.
Reg was a farmer for life, planting all his crops according to the moon cycle. He was willing to share his knowledge with anyone willing to listen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
