The family is saddened to announce the passing of Randy Wallace George of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, who went missing on July 11, 2013.
Randy will be forever loved and remembered by his brothers: Rudy George, PJ George; sisters: Linda Sandfly (Lenny), Shawna Sandfly (Brian), Nellie Sandfly (Danny), Beverly Kiseyinewakup, June Sandfly, Nicole Sandfly, Dawn Sandfly; aunts: Emma, Dorothy, Marlene, Alma, Maryann, Ronda, Barbara; uncles: Tommy, Eric, Gordon, Daniel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Randy was predeceased by his parents: Pierre George & Susan M. Sandfly; sisters: April Sandfly, Wilma Sandfly; aunts: Marie, Isabelle, Mary Louise, Caroline; uncles: George, Peter, Mitchell, Delmer, Dirk, Simon, Paul; grandparents: Adolphis Peeweenese & Cecile George, George & Mary Rose Sandfly.
Wake, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Chief Napew Memorial School Gymnasium, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, SK. (leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, AB at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Chief Napew Memorial School Gymnasium, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, SK with Band Elders officiating. Pallbearers: Romeo Sandfly, Carvey Sandfly, Max Oatchess, Sherwin George, Conrad Singer, Blair Kiseyinewakup. Final Resting Place, Big Island Lake Cemetery, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, SK.
