Peter "Pete" Berland Obituary
With great sadness, the family of Peter "Pete" Berland of Cold Lake, Alberta (or Grand Centre as Pete referred to it as) regretfully announces the passing of their beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend on Saturday July 5th, 2025.
Pete is survived by his son: Daniel Mark Luke Berland of Bonnyville, AB; daughters: Melissa Shannon Berland of Bonnyville, AB, Michelle Lynne Desjarlais of Lacorey, AB; mother of his children: Betty Desjarlais; brothers: Clifford Berland; Richard Berland; granddaughter: Shelby Lynne Desjarlais; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
Pete was predeceased by his parents; Maurice and Emma Berland; sisters: Florence (Wilf) Peters , Jane Johnson; niece: Corrine Milles.
Funeral Service, Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre, Cold Lake, Alberta with Pastor Kevin Amahoose officiating. Pallbearers: Daniel Berland, Melissa Berland, Michelle Desjarlais, Clifford Berland, Richard Berland, Leeann Berland. Cremation to Follow.
