With great sadness, the family of Noreen “Mouse” Cardinal Houle of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announce her passing on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the age of 59 years.
Noreen is lovingly survived by her son: Ryan Cardinal (Genie Bull); grandchildren: Dayton Cardinal, Breelynn Cardinal, Kiana Cardinal, Remyia Cardinal, Daylynn Cardinal; siblings: Doreen (Lyle) Jackson, Darrel (Amber) Whitford, Elyse (Oliver) Favel; step-mom: Marie Favel; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Noreen is predeceased by her parents: Edward Whitford & Eunice Cardinal; siblings: Brian Whitford, Dennis Whitford, Aaron Favel; maternal grandparents: Pauline Jackson & John Cardinal; paternal grandparents: Gordon & Veronica Whitford; first husband: Walter Morin; second husband: Wilfred “Chachin” Houle.
As per Noreen’s wishes, a private family service will be held with cremation to follow. Honorary Pallbearers: all Noreen’s friends who knew and loved her.
