With cherished memories for a life well lived, the family of Nicholas "Nick" Theodore Kumpula of St. Paul, Alberta regretfully announces his passing on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the age of 76 years.
Nick is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 52 years: Agathe "Aggie" Kumpula; daughter: Jo-Layne (Cory) Bromberger; son-in-law: Dave Larocque; treasured grandson: Nicholas Bromberger; brother: Jim (Marnie) Kumpula; sisters: Maryanne Beyersbergen, Donna Schill; brother-in-law: Jim Bell; sisters-in-law: Dr. Iris Kumpula, Rose Kumpula; many special nieces and nephews; as well as many other special individuals that Nick was a father, grandfather and môsom figure to.
Nick was predeceased by his daughter: Faye-Ann Larocque; son: Randall Cardinal-Kumpula; parents: Walter & Mildred Kumpula; brothers: Vern Kumpula, Keith Kumpula; sister: Debbie Kumpula; brothers-in-law: Murray Schill, John Beyersbergen.
Honoring Nick's wishes, cremation has taken place. Final Resting Place, Fork Lake Cemetery, Fork Lake, AB at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Nick may be sent to the St. Therese Acute Care, c/o St. Paul & District Hospital Foundation, 4713 48 Avenue, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A3.
