Nancy Elizabeth (née Smart) Sims

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Nancy Elizabeth Sims (née Smart) of Pierceland, Saskatchewan regretfully announces the passing of their dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 74 years.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her children: Kimberley McRae (Jody Oliver), Robert (Tracey) Sims, James (Valerie) Sims; grandchildren: Arielle McRae (Cody Beck), Jocelyn (Travis) Pliska, Kaybrie McRae (Dawson Dery), Levi  McRae, Meikah Sims, Ashton Sims, Mackenzie Sims; treasured great-grandchildren: Anistyn, Ember, Breia & Harmony McRae-Beck, Wrenley & Brynlee Pliska; brothers: Bob (Deb) Smart, Donald (Lina) Smart, Brian Smart, David (Helene) Smart; sisters: Irene (Bob) MacMillan, Donna Smart, Brenda Smart; brothers-in-law: Mike (Ellen) Sims, Dyrick (Germaine) McDermott, Bob Charleton; sisters-in-law: Helen Sims, Gladys (Dan) MacDonald, Susan Murray; the Tower Point Family; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 50 years: Don Sims; parents: Robert & Madeleine Smart; father-in-law: Jack McNaughton; sister: Linda Smart; sisters-in-law: Catherine Smart, Barbara McDermott, Gwen Charleton; brother-in-law: Gerald Croft; beloved dog: Nellie.

Come and Go Celebration of Life, Sunday, May 18, 2025, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., at the Josie Britton Centre, Pierceland, Saskatchewan.
