Obituary
With much love and fond memories, the family of Monica Marie Jelschen of Bonnyville, Alberta announces the peaceful passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Monica leaves to mourn her loving husband of 64 years: George Jelschen; son: Fred (Diane) Jelschen; grandchildren: Christa, Angela, Jessica (Rodney); great grandchildren: Faye, Tyler, Issac; siblings: Vivian (Bill) Dedick, Rene (Valerie) Van de Cappelle, Rose Gardner, Peggy (John) Pollard, Rita (Bob) Shaw, Stan (Margo) Van de Cappelle; as well as numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.
Monica was predeceased by her daughter: Connie; brother: Joe; parents: Constant & Amelia Van de Cappelle; brother-in-law: Basil Bouvette; nieces & nephews: June, Chris.
Funeral Service, Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Reverend Charles Reid officiating.
Final Resting Place, St. John’s United Church Cemetery.
