Melvin McArthur

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather, who left this world at the age of 70 years.

He was a man defined by hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. Throughout his life, he took pride in providing for those he loved, never shying away from long days or difficult tasks. His work ethic was not just a responsibility—it was a reflection of his character.

As a husband, he was steadfast and loving, a true partner through life’s joys and challenges. As a father and father-in-law, he offered guidance, wisdom, and steady support, always ready with a helping hand or thoughtful advice. His grandchildren knew him as a source of warmth, laughter, and gentle encouragement, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

He believed in the value of honesty, perseverance, and kindness, and he lived those values every day. Though he may not have sought recognition, his impact is deeply felt in the lives he touched and the family he built.

He will be remembered for his strength, his generosity, and the quiet way he showed love through his actions. His legacy lives on in his family, who carry forward the lessons he taught and the love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

As per Melvin's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date, here on Memento Funeral Chapel's page, for those wishing to attend.
