Mathew Kenneth Hollis

With broken hearts, the family of Mathew Kenneth Hollis of Bonnyville, Alberta is saddened to announce his unexpected passing on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the age of 27 years.

Mathew will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Tammy Chassé; father: Ken Hollis; sister: Samantha Hollis; maternal grandmother: Lyse Carrière; paternal grandfather: 'Soupy' Vaughn Hollis; paternal grandmother: France Mazzie; niece: Luna Hollis; cousins: Jessica Hollis, Curtis Hollis; as well as many family & friends from British Columbia that had a special place in Mathew's life.

Mathew was predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Jean Claude Chassé.

A Celebration of Mathew's Life will take place at a later date.

I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine, and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.

When you start thinking there's no one to love you, you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees, and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.

I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep, and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face - just look for me, friend, I'm every place!
