Mary Anna Wojcik

With cherished memories for a life well lived, the family of Mary Anna Wojcik of  Bonnyville, Alberta is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the age of 86 years.

Mary is lovingly survived by her two sons: Frank Wojcik, Andrew (Mila) Wojcik; two grandchildren: Leah Wojcik, Evan Wojcik; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members in both Canada and Poland.

Mary was predeceased by her husband: Stanley Wojcik; parents: Joseph & Victoria Kosman; four brothers: Joseph, Stanislaw, Mieczyslaw, Jan Kosman.

Prayer Service, Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. (eulogy starting at 10:50 a.m.), at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant. Final Resting Place, Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta. Pallbearers: Steve Wojcik, Matt Wojcik, Raymond Wojcik, Danny Slusarski,Rob Wojcik, Evan Wojcik; Honorary Pallbearers: Linda & Dale Myszczyszyn, Leo Cydejko, Mary Anne Strzepek.

Memorial tributes in memory of Mary may be sent to a charity of one's choice.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Bonnyville Health Centre for their care, the residents and staff of Bonnylodge for their compassion and for making Mary feel welcomed in her short time in residence, and to Father Rene Realuyo for his soothing prayers and presence during Mary's last days.
