Maria Panas Obituary
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts the family of Maria del Socorro Panas of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Saltillo, Mexico, announces her passing on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
Maria will be forever remembered and loved by her son: Joseph (Laura) Panas; sisters: Manuela Escobedo, Evangelina (Jaime) Escobedo; numerous other relatives and good friends.
Maria was predeceased by her husband: Paul Panas; brothers: Agustín, Juan José, Alejandro, & Manuel.
Public Viewing Sunday, September 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service and Eulogy will begin at 10:15 a.m. Those wishing to view the service online may do so by live-stream here on our website. A recording of the service will also be made available. Celebrant: Father Rene Realuyo. Final Resting Place: St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Iron River, Alberta.
