Marguerite "Ellen" Wadley

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Marguerite "Ellen" Wadley of St. Paul, Alberta announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 78 years.

Ellen was caring, kind, generous and had a heart of gold; all characteristics of an exemplary foster parent, which was one of her titles. She enjoyed country living at the lake, cats, birds and all things nature. Ellen worked at The Zodiac Restaurant, Ouellette Lumber Yard, St. Paul Daycare and as an attendant at the Chicken Hill Campsite.

Ellen leaves with precious memories her husband of 58 years: Richard "Marvin" Wadley; daughter: Tamara (Ken) Wright; son: Glen Wadley; granddaughter: Jody Reyes-Murales; brother: Donald Haydon; sister: Joyce (Myles) Crandal.

Ellen was predeceased by her parents: Douglas Maynard & Gail Joyce (née Simmonds) Haydon; biological mother: Marguerite Ellen Anderson; brother: Dale Douglas Haydon; cousin: "Young" Harry David Haydon.

As per Ellen's request, cremation has taken place; a Celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
