Margaret "Lynne" (nee Gillett) Whiteford

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Lynne Whiteford (née Gillett) of Bonnyville, Alberta is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the age of 77 years.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is her husband of 38 years: Robert Whiteford; children: Elizabeth (Tony), Allin, Jason, Macgregor, Ryan, Ashley (Scott), Taylor (Liz); step-children: Kellie (Jeff), Colleen (Cam), Sean (Mert); grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, David, Eric, Alexander, Benjamin, Nicholas, William, Jaden, Kale, Alena, Nathan, Melanie, Isabella, Rosalie, Emmitt; step-grandchildren: Jacob, Samantha, Ethan, Lauren, Mackenzie, Connor; brother: Allin Gillett; sister: Susan Kruse; brother-in-law: Jack (Paulette) Whiteford; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lynne was predeceased by her mother: Margaret Allin; father: Arthur Smart; sister: Anne Dingwell; mother-in-law: Mae Whiteford; sister-in-law: Margaret Gillett; brothers-in-law: Jim Dingwell, Jim Kruse.

As per Lynne's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Lynne may be sent to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
