Margaret Rose (Ripley) Nicol

With heavy hearts, the family of Margaret Rose Nicol of Cold Lake, Alberta announces her unexpected passing, with family by her side, on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 82 years, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Margaret will be forever remembered and loved by her husband of 60 years: Robert of Cold Lake, AB; two sons: Donald (Audrey) Nicol of Cold Lake, AB, Andrew Nicol of Edmonton, AB; three daughters: Paula (Don) Reid of Winnipeg, MB, Bobbi Cote (Brad) of Nanaimo, BC, Anita Dikland of Winnipeg, MB; three brothers: Dennis Ripley, David (PJ) Ripley, Albert (Barb) Ripley all of Lakeland, NS; four sisters: Meredith Brown of Halifax, NS, Jacqueline Sexton of St. Catharines, ON; Joan (Angus) Fife of Lakeland, NS, Rosalie (Hughie) Pettigrew of Lakeland, NS; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Candace & Oceane Reid, Gwen & Coryn Nicol, Sydney & Ky Dikland; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & other relatives.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents: Garfield & Eva Ripley; brother: Herbert Ripley.

Viewing, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB. Funeral Service, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB with Padre Anthony Ezeonwueme officiating. Honorary pallbearers are her children. Final Resting Place, Lakeview Cemetery, Cold Lake, Alberta.
