With shattered hearts, the family of Lyra Angel Kisakihitin Halfe of Goodfish Lake, Alberta regretfully announces that the sun unexpectedly set for their cherished daughter, sister baby, granddaughter, câpân, niece and cousin on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the tender age of 17 months.
Lyra will live on in the hearts of her parents: Brieanna Lacorde & Dyllon Shirt; proud big brothers: Nakaydo & Caspian Lacorde-Shirt; kôhkom: Lisa Shirt (Leroy Halfe); mosôm: Henry Hainault; câpâns: Gloria Halfe, Lester Shirt, May McConnell; aunties & uncles: Dara Halfe (Autumn McGilvery), Drew Halfe (Harmony Whitford), Lyndon Memnook, Lyle Jr. Halfe, Serena Sjuberg, Cathy Sanche, Gary Lacorde (Trisha Moccasin), Patrick Lacorde, Roman Lacorde; special cousins: Mihko McGilvery, Lataya Shirt; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Lyra is going into the arms of her kôhkom: Sonia Lacorde; mosôm: Lyle Halfe; câpâns: David Halfe, Sandra McMurray; uncle: Darryl Halfe; auntie: Angel Hainault.

Funeral Service, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., McRae Community Hall, McRae, Alberta, with Pastor Duane Grant officiating. Pallbearers: Drew Halfe, Lyle Halfe, Dara Halfe, Autumn McGilvery. Honorary Pallbearers: Nakaydo Lacorde-Shirt, Caspian Lacorde-Shirt, Lataya Shirt, Tanya Halfe, Mihko McGilvery, Josiah Halfe, Ariah Halfe. Final Resting Place, United Church Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
