With heavy hearts, the family of Lucette Edna Brunet of Bonnyville, Alberta announces her peaceful passing, with family by her side, on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the age of 100 years.
Lucette will be forever remembered and loved by her children: Aline Rondeau of Bonnyville, AB, Alice (Bob) Cartwright of Fort McMurray, AB, Cécile Clements of Edmonton, AB, Denise Brunet of Edmonton, AB, Carmen (Bill) Bossmann of Spruce Grove, AB, Mike (Alanna) Brunet of Airdrie, AB; sixteen grandchildren: Margo Moyen, Daniel (Brenda) Moyen, Patrick Moyen, Colette (Norm) Billard, Rob Rondeau, Jay (Leanne) Rondeau, Colin (Dawneen) Cartwright, Brad (Alana) Cartwright, Cherlyn (Kirby) Cartwright-Byrne, Greg Cartwright, Sara Clements, Bill Jr.(Katie) Bossmann, Mark Bossmann, Cameron Brunet, Joel Brunet, Pierce Brunet; eighteen great-grandchildren: Blake Cartwright, Gage Brebant, Chlöe Cartwright, Kristen Cartwright, Brook Rondeau, Austin Cartwright, Brett Cartwright, Mykaela Gaudreault, Fawn Rondeau, Kieran Gaudreault, Brendan Cartwright, Leah Cartwright, Bennett Rondeau, Emma Rondeau, Flora Moyen, Denim Moyen, Henry Bossmann, Leni Bossmann; sister: Bérengère Ducharme; brothers; Fr. Edmond Croteau, Réal Croteau.
Predeceased by her beloved husband: Emery Brunet (1994); parents Arthur & Lina Croteau; sisters: Adrienne Détillieux (2013) & Noëlla Fillion (2024); brothers: Lionel Croteau (2007) & Fr. Fernand Croteau (2022).
Funeral mass, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. (Eulogy will begin at 12:45 p.m.) at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. Pallbearers: Mike Brunet, Cameron Brunet, Bill Bossmann, Jr., Mark Bossmann, Brad Cartwright, Greg Cartwright.
Final Resting Place, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent, Alberta.
