It is with saddened hearts that the family of Linda Rose Sparklingeyes of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces her passing, our beautiful mom, kokum, chapan, sister, auntie & friend to many. After a long battle with covid & pneumonia, she left our physical world on November 14, 2021.
Linda was born August 20, 1959, she is survived by her three sons: Jimmy Sparklingeyes – her big heart, Lyle Sparklingeyes - her handsome & wife (Alli), Waylon Sparklingeyes – her baby shoes & girlfriend (Shanda); three grandchildren: Calli (Kade), Dalen (Justin) & Denton; three great grandchildren: Nash, Kane & Knox; six siblings: Joe Jacknife, Doreen (George) Pruden, Marina Logan, David (Andrea) Sparklingeyes, Joseph Sparklingeyes, Shawn (Lillian) Sparklingeyes; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents: William Logan & Helen Sparklingeyes; six sisters: Josephine, Elizabeth, Betty, Patricia, Rose & Pearl; seven brothers: Archie, John, Jim, Danny, Rene, Billy & Baby Brian.
Going home, Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Hall, Goodfish Lake, Alberta. Leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 12:00 p.m.
Funeral Service, Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Hall, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Pastor Linda Burns officiating. Honorary pallbearers: all her nieces & nephews, Wanda (Sal) Memnook & her many friends. Pallbearers: Dennis Reid, Kevin Logan, Clint Halfe, Quinton Steinhauer, Marshall Halfe, Matt Reid, Gregory Favel, Leon Ladouceur. Final resting place, St. Matthias Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
