With saddened hearts, the family of Leo Joseph Marie Louis Chaput of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 80 years.

Leo will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 59 ½ years: Stella Chaput of Bonnyville; four children: Isabell (David) Hochachka of Glendon, Robert Chaput of Bonnyville, Donna Chaput of Bonnyville, Daren Chaput (Tracy) of Spruce Grove; eleven grandchildren: Miranda Hochachka-Thompson, Amy (Fernando) Martinez, Sara Hochachka, Joshua (Lisa) Chaput, Jonah Chaput, Katie Chaput, Kayla Steepe, Christine (Derick) Steepe, Evan Steepe, Candace Chaput (Chad), Brittany Chaput (Sean); fifteen great grandchildren; brother: Raymond (Lise) Chaput of Leduc; as well as numerous nieces & nephews and other relatives.

Leo was predeceased by his parents: Alexander & Cecile Chaput; sister: Diane Boucher.

Service of Remembrance, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo officiating.  Final Resting Place, Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
