It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Dean Grant of Cold Lake, Alberta announces his passing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the age of 73 years.
Larry will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 52 years: Linda Grant; two sons: Nicholas (Sandy) Grant, David Grant; brother: Linwood Grant; two sisters: Betty (Stanley) Kerr, Polly (John) Dewitt; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends across North America.
Larry was predeceased by his parents: Clifford & Gladys Grant; four brothers: Stewart Grant, Ronnie Grant, David Grant, Blair Grant; four sisters: Barbara Grant, Irma Bower, Verna Flemming, Sharon Sharp.
Larry retired as a Master Warrant Officer at 4-Wing, Cold Lake, and during his years of service and his retirement he liked to be very busy in the community. He was involved in the Food Bank, as Santa Claus at the Mall and the Cold Lake Hospital, Long Term Care, as well as many other involvements.
He was a hunter and a fisherman. He loved the outdoors and going into the woods on his quad with Ollie, his faithful companion. He had a heart as big as the world.
Memorial Mass, Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, LeGoff, Alberta with Father Thomas Nguyen officiating. Honorary Urnbearers: Tom & Diane Simmons, Anna Coulter, Ellen & Peter Olfert, Daisy McTaggart, Will Anderson, Tim Lyons.
