Kenneth "Ken" George Bodnar

It is with broken hearts that the family of Kenneth "Ken" George Bodnar of Two Hills, Alberta regretfully announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, partner and brother on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the age of 59 years.

Leaving to mourn is Kens partner: Bonnie Wilde; children: Curt (Sonya) McGilvery, Ashley McGilvery, Kendra (Tyra) Bodnar, Kassandra (Jamie) Bodnar, Kerricia Bodnar; cherished grandchildren: Keirra, Kalayna, Brayton Jr., Kamden, Brayleigh, Brayson, Kayin, Brayden; numerous other grandchildren & great grandchildren; siblings: Gordon (Gladys) Bodnar, Tony (Judy) Bodnar, Christine (Cliff) Bodnar-VanderHorst, Zen (Lila) Bodnar, George (Maryann) Bodnar; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Ken was predeceased by the mother of his children: Sandra McGilvery; sons in infancy: Baby Boy Bodnar, George Joseph Bodnar; parents: George & Anne Bodnar; son-in-law: Brayton Jackson Sr.; granddaughter in infancy: Cherish Jackson; treasured dog: Harley.

Wake, Monday, May 26, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., Aiywakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Alberta at 4:00 p.m.

Celebration of Life, Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Aiywakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta with Emcee Victor Houle. Pallbearers: Curt McGilvery, George Bodnar, Lyle Steinhauer, Roger Bachelet, Kevin Romanchuk, Carey Yaremchuk, Travis Dennhardt, John VanderHorst. Honorary Pallbearers: Gordon Bodnar, Tony Bodnar, Zen Bodnar, Ferlin "Chopper" McGilvery, Jimmy "Zeus" Moosewah, Earl Stone, Dale Woloshniuk, Ron Tremblay, John Peters, Ashley McGilvery, Eddie Bodnar, Catlin Steinhauer  and everyone who knew and loved him.
