With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Karen Jean Reid of Cold Lake, Alberta announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the age of 61 years.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is her partner of 42 years: Deryl Reid; sons: Tyler (Shelby) Reid, Ricky Reid (Rikki Chrest); parents: Robert & Karen Reid; treasured grandchildren: Jaxten, Wyatt, Scottie, Denver, Atticus; brothers: Brad (Kathy) Reid, Collin (Laura) Reid; sisters: Kim (Jim) Beach, Laurie Makarenko; brother-in-law: Bryon (Arlene) Reid; sisters-in-law: Donna (Steve) Laybolt, Debbie Skotnitski; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Karen was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: Jerry & Jean Lindsay; paternal grandparents: George & Ethel Reid; parents-in-law: Donny & Barbara Reid; brother-in-law: Alan Skotnitski; nephew: Ryley Beach.
Celebration of Life, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Riverhurst Community Hall, Riverhurst, Alberta with Pastor Ron Hewitt officiating. Urnbearers: Tyler & Ricky Reid.
