Joseph Makaruk Obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Joseph “Joe” Makaruk of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his passing on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Joe will be forever remembered by his sister-in-law: Doris Makaruk of Edmonton; brother-in-law: Don (Louise) Sinclair of Ardmore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his wife: Cora Makaruk; five brothers: Ignacy (Lena), Frank (Lena), Stanley (Adele), Charlie, Albin (Eva); parents: Sylvester & Stanaslawia Makaruk.
Public Visitation, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville.
Funeral Service, Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church, Bonnyville with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating.
Final resting place, Duclos Memorial Cemetery, Ardmore, AB.
