On Tuesday, June 14, 2022 John William Pshyk of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Glendon, Alberta passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 years.
John is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 60 years: Gladys Pshyk of Bonnyville; two daughters: Bernadette (David) Sharun of Bonnyville, Juanita (Gary) Goreniuk of Bonnyville; son: Kenneth (Heather) Pshyk of Glendon; eight grandchildren: Anastasia (Jarett) Neff, Mykail Sharun, Alexia (Devon) Kalinski, Matriko Sharun (Taylor Bailey), Annika Goreniuk, Carter Goreniuk, Nicole Pshyk (Colton Way), Morgan Pshyk (Caleb Hunt); two greatgrandchildren: Ellis Neff, Sterling Kalinski; sister: Marion Edwards of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law: Zena Pshyk of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
John was predeceased by his parents: Bill & Polly Pshyk; two brothers: Steve & Michael; sister: Anne.
Public Prayer Service, Monday, June 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo officiating.
Private Family Funeral Service, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Glendon, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. Cross Bearer: Carter Goreniuk. Pallbearers: Mykail Sharun, Matriko Sharun, Jarett Neff, Devon Kalinski, Colton Way, Caleb Hunt.
Final resting place, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Glendon, Alberta.
