Jerome "Jujom" Bighead Obituary
On Friday, January 26, 2024 Jerome “Jujom” Lawrence Bighead of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 years.
Jerome is remembered by his mother: Tania Oatchess; brothers: Jayce, Edward; sisters: Tinita, Latisha, Farian, Lily, Neelah, Paris, Adessa, Madison, Azhea, Genesis, Jovi, Abigail, aspen; maternal grandparents: Rosanna Oatchess & Arthur Watchmaker; paternal grandparents: Billy Blackbird & Rosina Singer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jerome was predeceased by his father: Dean Singer; uncles; Ronald Belly, Wilson Belly; aunty; Rena Oatchess; nephew; Carter, Kydren.
Going Home, Thursday, February 1, 2024 leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake at 1:00 p.m.(Alberta time) to Chief Napew Memorial School Gymnasium, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.
Funeral Service, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., (Saskatchewan time) Chief Napew Memorial School Gymnasium Big Island Lake Cree Nation, with the Band Elders officiating. Pallbearers: Lynden Singer, Lance Singer, Galvin Ahmeecheko, Warren Joseph, Walter Oatchess, Frankie Mooststoos.
Final resting place, Big Island Lake Cemetery, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.
