Obituary
The family of Jennie Pietrzykowski (née Kurek) of La Corey, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the age of 95 years.
Jennie will be lovingly remembered by her four sons: Robert (Kelly) Pietrzykowski of La Corey, AB, Allen Pietrzykowski of Edmonton, AB, David Pietrzykowski of Edmonton, AB, Donald (Megan) Pietrzykowski of Lloydminster, SK; three daughters: Shirley Pietrzykowski of Edmonton, AB, Sandra (Perry) Erickson of Iron River, AB, Joanne Pietrzykowski of La Corey, AB; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and counting.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband: Dan Pietrzykowski (1998); parents: Walter & Mary Kurek.
Funeral Service, Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., Lakeview Gospel Centre, Bonnyville, AB with Pastor Dwayne Mitchell officiating, viewing starting at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Christopher Erickson, Kirk Erickson, Randy Erickson, James Pietrzykowski, Cole Pietrzykowski, Curtis Watchmaker. Final resting place, Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Beaver River, AB.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Jennie may be sent to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, 800 College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8.
