Jeannette Agnes Raby

The family of Jeannette Agnes Raby of Bonnyville, Alberta announces that she went to be with the Lord and Holy Spirit on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the age of 95 years.

Jeannette is lovingly survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family members.

Jeannette was predeceased by her husband: Joseph Balla; parents: Ludger & Eugenie Raby; brothers: Theodore Raby, Roland Raby; sisters: Simone Raby, Alice Raby, Elianne Diletzoy.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. (eulogy at 10:50 a.m.), St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant. For those wishing to view Jeannette’s service, you may do so by live stream here on our website. A recording of the service will also be made available. Final Resting Place, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Iron River, Alberta at a later date.

Thank you to the staff of the Bonnyville Hospital, Long-Term Care, APIDAE (Thess), Volunteer Gaby for their compassionate care and attention given to Jeannette. A special thank you to Mereline Griffith for being a friend and supporting Jeannette in her time of need.
