Jean Appleby Obituary
With grateful hearts for a beautiful life well lived, the family of Jean Theresa Appleby of Bonnyville, Alberta regretfully announce her passing on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the age of 93 years.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her children: Debbie (D’Arcy) Marshall, Hester (Mel) Gibbons, David Appleby (Barb Woods), Brenda Brooks, Don (Susanne) Appleby; son-in-law: George Greene; treasured grandchildren: Derek (Shannon) Cox, Dale Cox (Ana Nogueira Lima), Michael (Kathie) Gibbons, Tyler Gibbons, Steven (Kelsey) Gibbons, David Appleby Jr., Christopher Appleby, Blair (Kristin) Appleby, Andrew Wood, Jamie Appleby, Ryan Brooks, Randy (Nikki) Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Dayna Appleby, Dustin Appleby; numerous loved great grandchildren; sister: Joyce Boudreau (Louie Amirault), Sandra (Reggie) Cottreau; Jean will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years: Donald Appleby (September 2012); daughter: Sharon Appleby; parents: Benonie & Yvonne (née Gallant) Surette; brother: Henry (Elaine) Surette; sisters: Estelle (Francis) Moulaison, Anne (Kenneth) Surette; son-in-law: Rob Brooks.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
