It is with broken hearts that the family of Jay Homer Cadieux of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his passing on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 80 years.
Jay will be forever remembered by his loving family; children: Edward (Donna) Cadieux, Eileen (Randy) Batke, Marie (Bart) Demkiw; grandchildren: Coltin (Avery), Lexi (Andrew), Jay (Kaitlin), Jamey (Echo), Brian (Dez); great grandchildren: Cannan, Olivia, Iziah, Maverick, Lexy, Ethan, Emery, Chylar; brothers: Gerry (Mae) Cadieux; sisters-in-law; Rose Kachuck, Eloise Cadieux, Gladys Mahowich, Margret Mahowich; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Jay was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Josie in 2017; parents: Edward & Maude Cadieux; brothers: Ernest Cadieux, David Cadieux, Paul Cadieux; sisters: Louise Blais, Margaret Klinginberg; brothers-in-law: Lavern Blais, Ed Klinginberg, Walter Mahowich, John Mahowich; sisters-in-law: Germaine Cadieux, Bernice Cadieux, Helen Cadieux.
Funeral Service, Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Bonnyville Pentecostal Church, 4715 51 Avenue, Bonnyville, Alberta (Viewing will take place one hour prior to the funeral service) with Pastor Stu Carson officiating. A live-stream of the service will be made available on our website. Pallbearers: Randy Batke, Coltin Batke, Jay Batke, Jesse Cadieux, Bart Demkiw, Wade Cadieux.
