Jason "Tighty" Halfe

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Lyle Jason Halfe of Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 49 years.

Jason is lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty years: Lisa Shirt; six children: Lyndon Memnook (Kimberly Steinhauer), Dyllon Shirt, Serena Sjuberg, Drew Halfe (Harmony Whitford), Dara Halfe (Autumn McGilvery), Lyle Jr. Halfe; eleven grandchildren: Nakaydo, Caspian, Hanna, Mihko'Masikes, Ariah, Liam, Luna, Deshawn, Kingsley, Aubrey, Kenna; mother: Gloria Halfe; five brothers: David Jr. "Beans" (Lanaya), Clayton (Jamie), Neil (Cheyene), Leroy (Leanne), Gary; sister: Shana (Floyd); two godchildren: Preston & Summer Halfe; long time best friend "Butch"; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jason is going into the arms of his father: David Halfe; brother: Darryl Halfe; maternal grandparents: Jonas & Rita Cardinal; paternal grandparents: Sylvestre & Gladys Tremblay.

Going Home, Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Hall, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta. Leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 12:00 p.m.

Funeral Service, Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Hall, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta with Francis Morin officiating. Pallbearers: Drew Halfe, Lyle Jr.Halfe, Dyllon Shirt, Tim Halfe, Leroy Halfe, Neil Halfe, Clayton Halfe, Floyd Houle, Lyndon Memnook, Autumn McGilvery; honorary pallbearers: his many friends, 'you know who you are'. Final resting place, United Church Cemetery, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta.
