It is with deep sadness that the family of Jarrod Ivan Houle of Goodfish Lake, Alberta regretfully announces that the sun set for their beloved father, mosôm and brother on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the age of 56 years.
Jarrod is survived by his sons: Paden Shirt (Nicole) of Lac La Biche, AB, Claude Shirt of Goodfish Lake, AB; mother: Jenny Houle; grandchildren: Keiston, Simon J.R., Sarah, Kash, Jayden, Kihew, Hilary, Lainey; siblings: Joe (Isabel), Delores, Ursula (Greg), Francie; adopted sister: Cecile Hope; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jarrod is going into the arms of his common law: Donna Cardinal: children: Carly, Simon, Landy; father: Francis Houle; brothers: Francis, Ashley.
Wake, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, AB at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB with Father Michael Ngo officiating. Pallbearers: Eli Whitford, Terrance Houle, Floyd Houle, Ryan Lapatak, Jaimie Favel, Dean Houle. Honorary Pallbearers: all of his friends and family. Final Resting Place, Hilltop Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, AB.
