It is with great sadness that the family of Jamie Lee Whitford, of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces his unexpected passing on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the age of 40 years.
Jamie will be forever loved and remembered by his children: Chad Cardinal (Alyssa Brewer) of Kelowna, BC, Jeremiah Halfe of Goodfish Lake, AB, Juliana Halfe of Goodfish Lake, AB, Noah Tucker Whitford of Lac La Biche, AB; brother: Ralph Whitford (Tanya Jackson); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
James was predeceased by his parents: Larry Suvee & Leona Whitford; brother: Larry Suvee, Jr; grandparents: Dick & Sophia Suvee; auntie: Ruth Suvee.
Wake, Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB (leaving St. Paul Memento Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m.)
Funeral Service, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB with Pastor William Sinclair officiating.
Pallbearers: Ralph Whitford, Cameron Cardinal, George Cardinal, Les Suvee, Seth Jackson, Jesse Malofe. Honorary pallbearers: All of Jamie’s friends and fellow firefighters. Final Resting Place, Hill Top Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
