The family of James Alfred Vincent, formerly of Cold Lake, Alberta sadly announce his passing on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 77 years.
A former resident of Cold Lake for 42 years, James is survived by his wife: Cheryl; son: Paul; daughter: Jessica; three grandchildren: Marcus Vincent Kozy, Altus James Vincent, Kiera Leigh Vincent; twin brothers: Peter & Phillip Vincent; four sisters-in-law: Ann Vincent, Carolyn Woolf, Diana Cherry, Venetia Cherry; brother-in-law: Len Cherry.
James is predeceased by his parents: Gordon & Verla Vincent; parents-in-law: John & Elsie Cherry.
James followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Canadian Armed Forces for 27 years. He did two tours in Germany, Chilliwack B.C., and Cold Lake, Alberta. Upon completing 27 years of military service, James became a member of the public service in Cold Lake for an additional 20 years.
A Celebration of Life to honour the life of James will be held in Cold Lake and in Calgary at a later date.
