It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Edward Ansell on August 11, 2025, at the age of 67, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cold Lake, Alberta on September 1957, James was a devoted husband to Dorothy, loving father to Tyson (Tracy), Michael (Alanna), and Andrew (Megan), and proud grandfather to Aurora and Phoenix.
A highly respected refrigeration and heating technician, James was known for his skill, ingenuity, generosity, and his goofy, animated way of bringing light to any situation. He loved music, especially playing guitar around the campfire, science fiction, camping, and time with his family.
James will be remembered for his warmth, his laugh, his white Tilley hat, and the countless ways he brought people together.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., Silver Threads Senior Centre, Goodsoil, Saskatchewan.
