After a full and well lived life, the family of Jacqueline Elizabeth MacGillivray of Iron River, Alberta sadly share her passing on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the age of 90 years.
Jackie leaves to mourn her children: Lois (Marcel) Bourbeau of Edmonton, Ian (Cathy) MacGillivray of Mallaig, Evelyn (Edmond) Bourbeau of Bonnyville, Craig (Doreen) MacGillivray of Iron River, Penny (Luc) Gratton of Lacombe; grandchildren: Chris (Danielle) Bourbeau, Karly (Ryan) Bourbeau, Brenden Bourbeau, Jarrah Boos, Janine (Darryl) VanKooten, David Bourbeau, Robert MacGillivray, Joel MacGillivray, Sadie (Austin) MacGillivray-Bentley, Aidan Gratton; great grandchildren: Kian Boos, Theo Boos, Oakley VanKooten, Beau VanKooten, George Bourbeau; as well as many other family & friends.
Jackie is predeceased by her husband of 53 years George MacGillivray; parents: Rose & Charles Jesney; siblings: Mavis Fox, James (Jimmy) Jesney, William (Georgia) Jesney, Claire Jesney (Gaines), Robert Jesney, Eileen (Lloyd) Feland; grandchild: Ema MacGillivray Gratton.
Service of Remembrance, Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., St. John United Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Reverend Sung Soon Park officiating. Final Resting Place, Iron River United Church Cemetery, Iron River, Alberta.
